Where you’ll find OBAGO

We set up where people wait, trade and gather, and where mobile data is slow or costs too much.

Put an OBAGO hotspot at your venue

Bring paid internet to your station, market, restaurant, school or event. We set everything up and run the vouchers.

Good fits: bus station managers, market associations, restaurant and café owners, schools and colleges, camp and lodge owners, and event organisers who need internet for a weekend.

Request a hotspot

We’ll call or WhatsApp you to talk about your venue.

Questions

Do I need to install an app?

No. Any phone, tablet or laptop with Wi‑Fi works. Join the OBAGO Internet network and the login page opens in your browser.

The login page didn’t open. What do I do?

Make sure you’re connected to the OBAGO Internet network, then open your browser and visit any website. You’ll be taken to the login page.

How fast is it?

Each device gets up to 5 Mbps download and 1 Mbps upload. That’s enough for video calls and streaming, and it keeps the spot quick when lots of people are online.

What happens when my pass runs out?

Your pass ends when the time or the data is used up, whichever comes first. The login page comes back and you can enter a new code.

Is anything blocked?

Torrents and other peer-to-peer file sharing are blocked so one person can’t slow the network for everyone else. You accept the terms of use when you log in.

Where do I buy a voucher?

From the OBAGO attendant or vendor at the hotspot. They print your code on the spot.
